A very beautiful Celtic gold quarter stater, nicely centred and struck on a large, dished flan. Striking crack around 2 o'clock on the obverse. The abstracted designs, of both the horse and the head, are full of energy and movement. A wonderful piece of British history which would sit well in any Celtic collection.
